Seeing 2020

Everyone says the same thing every year… “This year I’m gonna _______.” Some of us know exactly what to put into the blank. Others of us have to really think about it. We aren’t sure. No matter where you fall maybe this year can be a year of “2020” vision for you. It is, after all, the year 2020. So let’s focus up and maybe we could have a year that we’ve only ever really dreamt of.

I took some time off blogging to really refocus on this new year. Each year around November and December I plan a time away where I review the past year in full. Then I plan the next years goals and assign each of them a designated quarter that I will heavily focus on those specific goals for the year. I limit myself to 5 minimum and 10 maximum.

All of us have some sort of ambition we want to get after. What’s holding you back from seeing those happen in 2020? One of my big ambitions is with this blog. I would love to see it continue to grow. Another ambition parters with that one: to start a podcast and/or YouTube channel.

A huge personal ambition of mine is happening this year: becoming a dad! Holy cow! This summer our lives will change forever and I cannot wait for this journey to get underway. So this year a huge ambition of mine is to become a dad and be a great one for our child.

What are some of your 2020 ambitions? How will they give you more clarity on the direction of your life in the year to come? Share in the comments. When we share with one another it encourages others to get to work also.

Happy 2020!

  1. Thanks for the challenge! My ambition is to pursue healthy, Christian friendships in 2020! This includes relationships with family and friends! Help keep me accountable!
